Well chit, today just got cut short.
Was up on scaffolding tearing a hoist gearbox apart.
Heard a pop. Minute or so the sniffer went off on CO.
Whole plant just shut down. Apparently GA Powers substation tripped.

So 3hrs ago or so, I'm out in the garage doin some cleanin and keping the burrnin barrel out back fed. Fedex guy pulls up and runs a package across the road. I'm all lit up with anxiety at this point with a HUGE chit eatin . Thinking the guy's gonna reach back in the truck and bring a package to me. He jumps in and drives to the other neighbor's house across the road.
Dude doesn't even know what he did to me.
Fawkin douche bag.

We were working above the main turbine compressor too.
Kinda the heart of the plant. When you pull the plug on that thing while it's WFO, it starts burping, farting, and puking ALL kinds of stuffs apparently.
There was a reddish brown "rain" that fell on the trucks as we were heading out.
Our contact said it would be a good idea to wash the truck, as it was not good for the paint.
Fugg that truck.
I went to the hotel and washed ME.
