Remember that stack of tongue in groove cedar I showed you? Its all up and we are able to return 8 packages. Get a couple hundred back. Gotta get trim up then seal it up. We are putting a sliding barn door over the walk in closet. The wife also wants the dressers in the closet. Im on board. Downside we have to have them made. We gotta guy looking over plans we sent him. Need two.

Just did a couple of doors for the pantry cabinet from some leftover pine T&G I had in the shed. Turned out ok.
Glad the laundry room is almost done. Got a laundry table/hamper and some base board left to do.

Y'all have a Hot Water Cupboard? It's our term for the space that the electric water heater cylinder occupies, traditionally combined with the linen cupboard so the poorly insulated cylinder warmed the sheets and towels too.

We actually have something similar, though not initially planned.
You can see into the "pantry" in this shot. The water heater is located inside there.
I noticed years ago that there was an unused space above it. They had drywalled all the way to the ceiling.
I just openned up a "door" with the recip saw, and installed an insulated platform above the water heater. Just made a little more storage space.

We had three delays in the start of this job.

1. Frost leaving the ground.
2. Underground service locates (took 4 weeks for the power company to show up for "call before you dig'
3. Lumber...

I wish $5000 was all. We are roughly $50 linear ft for our job including gates and such.
