I’m good. I’m about to check out some chain Dall suggested I try. He also gave me some tips on filing I’ve been working on. Really is a different world fine tuning a ported saw chain over just doing what it says on the box or just setup a grinder to the factory angles of most chains. Lots of skill in chains I must give kudos to the chain experts out there.
I haven't chimed in much on the chain talk. I will see if I can get some pictures of one of mine. From what saw in the pics it looked like you need to take more of the gullet out. It really is something that just takes time. Eventually it will be easy for you. Just trial and error right now for you. Just keep at it.

I was doing fine just sharpening like a stock chain then I started trying to figure out how guys get them to cut fast then I went the other way so It was time to start back at stock chain then go from there.

I do all my chains the same no matter what saw. If the saw has more azz then simply drop the depth gauges down a little. But yes I will file a brand new chain. They all suck stock lol.

Oh I’ve seen proof of that out the box chain then someone who knows how to make them zing gives some tweaks and they cut totally different. That’s what I gotta figure out.
