Thankfully no floor mounted headlight dip switch like was popular in UK Rootes Group stuff in the 70s. That created some left foot shuffling. Cars do approach at night sometimes when gears need changing. Engineers...

No worries, drove them all, from the 50's to the 70's. Makes a good deadman switch hidden under the carpet in your street rod ;-). Straight from the main wire harness right back to the coil positive.
