Fiddled some wires, cleaned the flame sensor and relit the pilot and we are again heating with gas.

My furnace guy is home shaking his head “I told you 5 years ago you needed a new furnace”. My response was “You told me to run it until it dies” “That was your AC dumb ass, you don’t want to risk it quitting in the middle of winter.”

Can’t have wood heat in the city, doesn’t meet code here. Natural Gas or Electric the only real options.

I used trex decking this time since it was only $2 more per board than treated. Hope it holds up.

Busy busy
Between work and trying to get crops in and derecho cleanup not much time for anything else
