They've pretty much tried to keep us on house arrest. Take out and delivery only for food and coffee. No movement between different counties, no recreational fishing/swimming.

We have to send an SMS or fill out a form to jog or go to the pharmacy. Crock 'o shiite! I pull the farmer card when the cops check me at roadblocks...nobody messes with the farmers here.

That is crazy. I’m about 7 counties north for work today. Things seem to be much easier here than in Greece and Canada. When we go into customer homes they sometimes look at us and say you don’t need a mask here. Makes work much better. My wife’s work is trying to make all employees get the shot. She tried to tell me about it yesterday and I just told her I am not listening to that crap.

Dan when you get prices for the oil let me know as I have yet to get any since they took it out of the box when you shipped the 500 to me

That would be up to the governor of your state...or the mayor of your town, etc. The federal government doesn't have the authority to tell any state that they must make their citizens wear a mask. Now.....on federally funded transportation, or on a military base, the US government probably has some authority to require masks.

Uncle Sugar has mandated masks for sometime now, for all employees (Active/Reserve/National Guard/Civil Service) on military bases, and I'm sure it's prob the same in all federal buildings, etc. Safety and QA write mf'rs up left and right every day here when they're caught not wearing one, and time-off suspensions with no pay follow suit. There's 23K plus folks here at Robins AFB alone...they have no choice but to enforce the hell out of the mandate.

It's crazy, but most people don't really adhere. 300 Eu fine if a cop wants to push the issue about circulating without a valid reason.

We're the same with working....some people want the mask and others could care less. Funny thing is....our cases versus death rates are extremely low.

IMO no real justification for such an austere lockdown. The gov't keeps saying it's because we have a high population of elderly here. I think they're FOS.

25% of the cases of covid 19 we have achieved in the last 5 days, we are in the top 5 list in Norway right now, if we calculate risk we are number 3, beaten by 2 neighboring cities.

Sometimes it has been due to new learning, other times it is due to politics.

Mask mandates...that seems like a local thing for sure for you guys in the US. Here...it's just a real part of having a socialist gov't.

Like paying 1200 Eu in annual road tax, but not being able to freely operate your car for the second year in a row. Socialism seems to run on the wipe-before-you-poop philosophy.

They mandate whatever they want here in complete breach of the constitution or any other laws that were intended to solidify civil liberties.

I still think our lockdown and mask mandate is austere to mask for the complete failure of our socialist health care system.

I stopped looking at the numbers. Most of what I learned was rumors and talk from friends. I couldn't look at screens for quite a while, so I haven't kept up with the news.

Hopefully after Greek Easter we will start opening up...we could use a little boost to the economy.
