The paperwork is done, went faster than feared!

I'm almost done building a 550xpg, it's been a long time since I built one, god I hate mounting those carburetors.
But the saw is finished assembled, starts, oils, heats, left to dump on b & c, test run it tomorrow.

There's another guy who's been whining at me for months, if I can diagnose his 550, since I'm working on the crap series today, I might as well get it done.

I hope it is too Steve. With the loading problems the forum has had these last few months, and not having much time or patience, I can imagine a lot of fellas walked away.

Wrong

I actually heard back from the E-Mail I sent Dan this morning. He's still kicking, although at a lesser rate, him and his wife had some health issues(not covid) to deal with. He says he will come on this weekend and check in with y'all.

Damn, it's been a long time since I last worked with the chainsaw, I found the pressure & vacuum equipment after a long search operation. But, I had apparently lent the MityVac to the neighbors, so that's it.

Yeah did a decent amount recently and more coming up. Going to build a wood shed.View attachment 292270
I'm guessing it will be very cost effective for me
I plan to start on hundreds of free hardwood or pine if I want.
I'll get the poplar first
I just need slabs with one good edge
A guy gave me a commercial table saw
I'll cut them to dimension
It'll take awhile for my building
But I don't care.

Yep definitely worth it. Lumber prices are crazy lately.
