What is old Cranky Frank Brent?
Well, Cranky Frank was a Holden pickup that somebody rat rodded and they used in the last Mad Max film. Cool old truck.
Cranky Frankie is a 2019 Chevrolet 5500 heavy duty truck. Chassis made by International(Navistar). Has the Isuzu(Duramax) diesel engine and 6 speed Allison transmission.
Basically a chevrolet Silverado cab with a plastic front clip grafted onto the aforementioned running gear, with an 11' Knapheid service bed on the rear.
Miller Bobcat 250NT engine driven welder, torch rig, and some "gang boxes" in the bed for heavy rigging storage.

Nothing exciting really. Ordered a new clutch for my truck today. Not looking forward to doing it, but looking forward to it holding the power. Sup with you? Anything exciting going on?

Won’t pull those 37s eh [emoji2957]

Won't pull anything past half throttle. I new it wouldn't after I did the motor work. Was just waiting for better weather to change it. How you been doing Mark? Did you get a complete exhaust for your truck, or just doing repairs?

I'm done for today..
View attachment 288508

Going to lose some knuckles tomorrow.
Bolts come in from the firewall side to the exhaust pipe.
Supposed to remove the downpipe.
To remove the downpipe, one must remove the transmission.
You can get back there without doing that, but it hurts.

those on the 7.3 isn’t bad but you will need a jack tall enough to reach it
Last one I did I was able to get my hands on a tractor trailer transmission jack

Those dual disk clutches still loud and clanky? Been a while since I’ve done one. Don’t know if they have changed their design any since.
