Well ain’t this a sporty little ‘thank you’ for hooking up a buddy down the streets’ water heater a few evenings ago. He and his ol’ lady had it swapped and set in place...all I had to do was crimp six 3/4” PEX brass crimp rings with my crimpers. Of course I donated the brass crimp rings and a little 3/4” PEX pipe as well....they don’t cost *s-wordt nohow.

I told ‘em don’t get me a damn thing and don’t want no money. That didn’t sink in I guess...1/2 gallon of Crown.

Going to lose some knuckles tomorrow.
Bolts come in from the firewall side to the exhaust pipe.
Supposed to remove the downpipe.
To remove the downpipe, one must remove the transmission.
You can get back there without doing that, but it hurts.

Broken pawnshop junk is what I learned to port saws on. Sadly some ran worse after I ported them. I’m a slow learner

The fuzzy logic that modern transmissions use to learn how to shift actually learn from the driver. If it’s not throwing an improper gear ratio code id say he needs to learn how to keep a steady foot and let it reset. You already know all that but that’s my thinking on it lol
