07 4wd Trailblazer. Supposed to split the ball joints and remove the cv shafts to get to the steering gear nuts.

Take a deep 21mm socket, position the cv shaft just right and it slides in.

Grab that bish with vice grips and go to town.

Turns a 3 hour job into 45 minutes.

Absolutely flat calm day on the harbour and here I am doing groceries, washing and pruning a guava tree for the neighbours.

I took a nice chunk of my knee cap. It still hurts.

I've only gotten jeans at my upper thigh a couple times. I'm still not smart enough to wear the chaps all the time because of it. My old ex-navy boss said all the time "if you aren't going to be smart you'd better be tough".
