Headin in. 1st day Saturday not my favourite roster that's for sure. Plant should be handed back from maintenance by now so could be a fun 12 hours, or a whole lot of nothing.

There is demand for this type of working dog for people with livestock. They are not high dollar dogs though, especially for how good they are at what they do. This is Dad and Mom when we first got her.View attachment 287545
They are NOT pets. They are happiest living outside and in a barn with a flock or a herd to look after.

As far as the rescues I really don't pay attention locally.

No sir. They don't herd they just protect from predators. Both are Antolian Shepard and Great Pyrenees mix. Dad in the pic there is about 140lbs. A big attention loving baby if you're a part of his herd, a whole lot of mfer if you're a threat. When he's with the birds he even keeps his eye on red tail hawks flying over.

BTW we had trouble with the count, there are 11 of the pups.

My male curr fractured my foot tackling me for yelling at the other dog and he thought I was yelling at my wife. Boy he took my 210lb ass right off my feet. I couldn’t really be mad at him for protecting my wife though. After that he ran away and hid from me because he knew he *f-worded up. He was a good dog. Someone poisoned him.
