The crazy thing about being in the city with the snow on the ground, the cloudy nights are brighter than the clear ones. Once the city lights start bouncing back and forth between the snow and clouds it’s crazy. It was already starting to clear a bit when I got up but some morning I could almost read with just the ambient light in the morning.

I know what your talking about. When it's cloudy I can see where Stevens point (13 miles) and Wausau (25miles) are how it lights the sky.
When the atmosphere is right, I can also hear the CN train horn at crossings when I'm out hunting. Nearest tracks are 8 miles south.

We had an interesting afternoon yesterday at work. There was a car chase and the car crashed and the guy ran into a warehouse behind ours. There was shooting and cops everywhere.

Yes it ended a couple hours after the cops made us leave the store. It ended peacefully from what I heard. I went back and locked our warehouse and trucks later last night.

MorningAll. Volatile spring weather is here. 34f at 5am, will be 38 later today. Cooling off overnight and a forecast high of 5 tomorrow. Spring is never a linear progression for us, not out of the woods yet, I expect one more good snow dump at least.
