No, I don’t plan on *frenching up my new saws. But I listened to you and I found one of those new *s-word Homelite saws that has a seized P&C. I’m gonna rebuild it and see if I can get it running

Won’t gain much porting a clammy without some extensive machine work. But you can widen the exhaust and intake. Maybe knotch the piston skirt on the intake side to give it some more duration easily. Good practice. Wouldn’t raise the exhaust any. If it’s loses compression it will lose more torque than gaining horsepower. Just my 2 cents

I was 19 (horny Teenager) when it originally came out... Those leather pants started a trend that I could get behind. Ended up dating a girl that worked in the leather store in the mall.

Saw her live fall of 2018 or 19, for 60 she was still pretty hot, has definitely taken care of herself.

Fairly mild 9f to start this January morning.

Most other years I would already be on a plane bund for MSP and then DFW, this mark a full year that I haven’t travelled anywhere.

I like the fact that we can't travel right now. I spent 20 years traveling all over North America for fires and disasters and am happy to stay at home nowadays.

In 1994 I had 550 flight hours in helicopters and in 2010 I had more than 25k miles on commercial flights.

Pretty much. I was a Department of Interior firefighter and then worked on-call for FEMA. I spent much of the 90's working on
DOI flight crews assigned to megafires throughout the west. I was an aviation manager for FEMA and the Eastern Emergency Operations Coordination Center.

A lot of those miles I racked up in 2010 were going back and forth to Deepwater Horizon.

Can’t imagine how stressful that was. I work in a solid fuels power plant And we have had lots of fires. I’ve fought quite a few fires. Nothing like yours but none of them fun.

I feel the same way for you guys - the old boys I worked with on DH were running hard. The Ops Chief I worked with from BP was probably under more stress at that time than a
sitting US President. The two crew chiefs I was working with out of Orange Beach put in more than 50 hours each when the platform first blew. Those guys were tired.

The capper of all that was that one of their 42' clean-up boats was stolen out of their Marina in Pensacola while I was there. They figured it was guys from the Bahamas that took it.
I think the boat was valued at around $2.5m with all of the electronics it had on it.
