Maybe you should listen to some of the more experienced guy’s that gave you advice and buy a cheap bucket of parts then build it into something you can sell for a profit if it’s done right but you will still need to make a name for yourself that you know what you are doing.

I inspected the interior of the saws and they looked to be all OEM. The seller also confirmed this while I was looking at them

The 371 will be single ring for oem
The stihl I don't care about.

Yeah, you are right. But every one I've seen where they took the time to get the inner fairing painted to match just looked so much better.

Custom paint? Gotta be about half a million bolts to keep track of for reassembly

Well dall looks like I had to eat my words to a 68rfe trans sonnex triple disc converter failure lol. First one I have seen fail but the converter has a warranty. 60k miles on it but it’s a tuned 6.7 Cummins. That’s when it’s in gear and breaks applied.

New pump is in. Been chipping rust scale off the frame all afternoon. Gonna call it good and let the fluid film fly.
