Such fun! Not. What's the equipment do when it's running?

That is the hoist for a 150 ton overhead crane.
We are replacing the sheave bearings. Thats what the wire rope runs around to give the hoist its mechanical advantage. The more sheaves and parts of line, the greater the capacity, but lower the speed. Like a block and tackle setup.

Yep. Cept I don't see the term ignored content anymore so must be my ignored dousche bag list doesn't hang out where I do.

Every once in a while I see that “show ignored content” and think I should click it, the. I remember why I only had to read 1 page of being 4 behind to get caught up.

Found out I got an appointment at the hospital for ultrasound on my neck next Wednesday. Wont know anything else till later in the month. Next appointment is three weeks.

My theory is that if they thought it was really serious they would move it along faster. I’d say they don’t think the delay will cause any harm so just try and relax.
