They dont put grease fittins on em anymore or I would have. The Dixie Choppah I have up here has greasable blade spindles and front wheels/swivel spindles.
I guess folks were either putting not enough or too much grease in, so they went to sealed bearings.

Its a Pro turn 460.
Just bought it last April to replace the old Dixie Chopper X19 I had down there.
Very nice machine. Has the 35 hp Cow a Sloppy motor. 60" cut. Air ride seat is freakin awesome!
Bosslady rides that one most of the time. I figure if she dont mind Cuttin grass, I can get her a nice mower.

I'll say thanks to ya for the ones that didnt know you were out there or didnt care.
Dad worked 36 years for the co op. Hes climbed ice covered poles and broken ones in several storms.
Not enough folks appreciate what y'all do.

I paid a little extra for a suspension seat on the Dixie Chopper 2550 I bought 5 years ago. That was WAY better than the X19 Dixie Chopper I had.
The Gravely came with the air ride seat that sits on rubber bushings too. That thing rides like a Cadillac! Got a little switch you can push to inflate or deflate the seat, depending on your level of "fatassness".
I always have to pump it up a lot more when I get on it for some reason...

It costs the same, no matter how big or small they are. Lucy is 12 pounds. Tia is 7.
We get one for the kids dog. Hes 150 pounds. Same price for all, but it works.
