You should now go drill 2 holes in it.
It can be a happy thumb

You know the old drill a hole in the nail to let the blood out when you mash the chit outta one......every working man does. I use the tip of a knife to do it......

So this young feller named William was helping us frame houses, and he mashed the hell out of his thumb one day. Within minutes it was black under the nail. I looked at it and said "you probably need to drill a hole in that to let the pressure off" I never thought about it again until I hear a scream from the tool trailer. He used a power drill......and when it caught, in drilled all the way through that thumb.

Screws driven into fingers were common when I worked out on the HVAC assembly line. All the way in and the driver stopped at 8-12n/m. No matter how many folks did it mfers still hooked their off index finger under the case screw boss and ran a driver with the other. The medical dept. doesn't use a power driver to back them out...

Sometimes you just gotta eat the *s-word sandwich.

My ex-wife bought this construction staple gun that worked backwards from normal. The thing actually worked really well because the lever and your weight were over the staple. I sunk more than one of those *b-wordes into meaty parts of my hand and had to drag them out. Every time I used it I started backwards.

Who's ever hooked themselves with one of these bad boys? I used it to trim acrylic panels when I was a rebath installer. View attachment 263859 When it gets you, it gets you good
Not one of those but when I worked carpet and tile in the 90s
my boss insisted he get me a carpet knife
I was using a case xx sodbuster
A he got me a damn non retractable blade carpet knife.
They were like 50.00 for a swiss bastard back then.
After a long day I slipped it in my front pocket so I could
Use the knee kicker to tighten a carpet.
It cut through the pocket all along my sack all the way to my knee in
A millisecond
No blood no cuts just jean's
Sharp sob.
The homeowner got me some pants.726.jpg

Good morning, sperm whales !

Got the result from the heart monitoring today, there is no indication of any heart fibrillation. So the heart is 100% good.
Time to take the good things as they are and move forward.
