Husqvarna x cut bla bla bla. First and last one I will buy. Two maybe three tanks of fuel and a tooth breaks off. Farking garbage chain.View attachment 262019
Almost bought a reel of it last week. Tell me more reason to avoid it and buy Stihl chain or Oregon.

I assumed Husky specs the chain and Oregon manufactures it here, no, maybe?? Idk no days.

Not sure who makes it, but never seen a Oregon or Stihl chain do this. Well not until filed past the witness line I should say lol. Even the cheap Woodland pro from Bailey's is better. Big fail from Husqvarna imo.

Mine was built March 1995.
It's a solid machine. Something happened to Ford and Chevy after 1996. Maybe They felt sorry for Chrysler? I don know. Anyhow, I won't own anything built after 1995 in ANY manufacturer other than Ford Superduty platform.
Not necessarily diesel.
The V-10 is still a solid power plant, as are the transmissions, lousy fuel economy notwithstanding.
7.3 turbodiesel is STILL SOLID. Cant kill those, and they get great fuel economy, in spite of being slow on the bottom end. 6.0 got a bad rap, but once the head studs are fixed and the EGR
is deleted, they are solid performers with great power per cube.
GM stuff went off the rails in 2001 trucks. 96-7' was the pinnacle of the old school truck imo. Might have to head west and bring back a SLT ext cab or SLS for myself next spring. We have several GM family trucks around here from 96-99' that have 3, 4 and approaching 500k but most have no cab corners or rockers coming out along with the doors. None have been opened beyond intake gaskets in the motors. My truck is in the 320's now. Towing heavy part-time since 170k. Tells a tale like my 97' F350 with 250k 7.3 with a fresh trans installed @190k.

Good stuffs imo. See no reason to move forward this decade yet. Who might change that... who knows. 81-92 GM turcks were all crappy runners with too many problems imo. Hated them all. Parted some and sold the others off. A hundred K on new pickup trucks ain't my thing!

The wife walked out our side door last night an found a Y standing there frozen in the fine fescue (sp) grass. She said hello pretty and it bolted. Ran up and down the fence along the tracks for about an hour lol.

Would you happen to live on Sesame Street by chance?
