ONLY way I can see not reclaiming my weapon.
Last time I checked, they wasnt giving those away.
I dont loan ANYTHING I cant afford to replace.
Folks want to borrow the loader, a chainsaw, my company's scissor lift, etc. ALL the time.
I cant afford to lend out any of those, because I cant afford to repair or replace them.

He worked with me and got fired and moved right after, then wouldn't talk on the phone either. Police refused to help, was pretty much fugged. Probably good thing I didn't catch up with him, as it wouldn't have been pretty. After that I would just rather give them to people, saved all the hate and discontent.

I lost a set of BBQ racks I made that way. Could cook 25 chicken halves or a whole hog.
Bastid got the cinder blocks for the "walls" and even the metal "floor" of the "improvised pit".
No idea where he went.

Amazing aint the word I was Look in for, but that'll do.
Was just thinkin about what it took to cook chickens on that. Was a lot of work, but a lot of fun. Helped if you had friends.

Oh yeah! Had a best buddy volunteered a place for my old hot rod car to stay while I went out West to work. Said to me keep it here as long as you want, months, years or decades it will be here when you get back. Well a few years went by and I came back to visit and check out my old car. Wasn't a straight panel left on it and all the hot rod goodies had been pilfered. I'm like dude wtf? "Well it needed moved and there was a front end loader here..." I just walked away, and went to an old guy I knew that liked to part out old cars, told him to give me a dollar and handed him the title and address.

Agreed. Was hoping that the kids would be slightly interested in doing some of the stuff I grew up doing for "communal bonding".
They dont have a clue, and could care less.
I guess its just the way weve gone to. Too much to do. Too little time.
They damn sure dont respect what Susan and I have done for them. Just want more. All they know is what THEY want to do. Don't matter what weve put off to do for them in the past. They still expect it. We're just servants.
Got some bad news for them.
Weve paid our dues. Its time for us to do some stuff WE want to.
