Just hit a local gun shop with the wife this evening. 9mm ammo on the shelf. $33.00 for a box of 50 target loads. Kiss my white azz.
Ammo is retarded here too with a limit of 2 boxes pp. So to save ammo I've been using the CO2 rifles, handguns and nitro piston rifles lately for practice. A little .22 here and there too

Im set on ammo of all kinds we use and enough reloading supplies to ruin a few rifle barrels. That said, I'm definitely researching PCP air rifles. 22 on up caliber. Probably get a .257 Airforce brand. One that shoots lead bullets, not pellets.

Both good points gents. Ed, you're in the trenches at a shop and would have a hell of a lot more direct knowledge than me on the subject. Any information I have on the subject is heresay, chatting with a couple guys on other forums claiming that they themselves went through it, reading other stuff......hell I don't know, maybe it was just a batch of them that weren't made right and the problem was limited.
Anywho, I've *b-worded about how sue happy people are in this country as well. It's fecking rediculous. It's one thing when a company royally drops the ball and their customers suffer for it or a company knowingly screws people over. But NOOOOO.....lawyers will chase ambulances, then dig and dig and dig to find a loophole to get around an idiot's personal responsibility, get paid, and don't give a crap if they take down a good company and destroy those jobs. The Blitz gas can company is a good example.

Pretty much sums it up. I've had a number of people tell me how common of a failure it is and the common factor is their source, the internet.
I know there are failures. I just think they are being blown out of proportion.
I bet 80% of the diesels I have on my hoists for whatever reason, the owner could easily get by with a 1/2ton. And I'm a firm believer in overkill when it comes to hauling a load. Nowadays they are nothing but a pecker extender...all so broseph can puff out his chest and say look at my super cool knobby swamp donkeys and pimp wheels that will never actually see dirt or haul anything substantial.

Its like the Cobalt ignition snafu. That car was targeted at a younger crowd. The bulk of which has enough *s-word hanging off the car key to tote around in a wheelbarrow. There is a reason when we did the recall when both sets of keys got turned back to the customer they had nothing on them but the key and remote fob.

There is a dude in Michigan. Up north airgunner on the YouTube. He has taken some crazy long air rifle shots. Like world record on one.

I looked into the pcp rifles. Was quite interested in a FX Impact in .22 but thats $3k for a air rifle setup. I just couldn't do it.

The ONLY reason my truck is gonma squat like that is if its loaded down wif some heavy chit. I see em over in Anderson SC with some that almost have the bumper dragging. No way they can see out the windshield.

The big cost of getting started is all the gear to supply air. If I do it ill get my own compressor. It becomes a second stage high pressure unit plugged into my existing one. Filling the 3000-4000 psi tank.

Nope, dats a little steep fer me too main!
I'm fine with my nitro piston rifles. My favorites out of the collection are the air arms pro sport and the sig sauer. *s-wordt the air arms setup was $1200 and I think a little poop squirted out when I paid for that lol20200916_203031.jpg

Pisses me off. I kinda NEED a bigger truck to haul the loader. F 150 will do it, but its not safe to stop. Even with electric brakes. I mean, the loader itself weighs 8,000 lbs.
I cant afford a good used one because theyre either higher than a Giraffes arse, or some dickmuppet kid has lifted, programmered, or just generally *f-wordalated it.
