I started labeling my tool box drawers. They even have some nifty magnetic ones but i just used a marker.

I just use masking tape. I can write on it with a sharpie, and peel it off if a change is needed.

They are not as of yet, angle brackets will be attached to the bottom of the poles and anchored to the cement.

I did something similar years ago, but poured a piece of 2" pipe in the concrete. Left the pipe sticking up a few inches, drilled the center of the posts to slide over the pipe, and bolted it thru the center. This was for a public area in a subdivision. Post and beam construction. The posts were 16" diameter cedar logs. It sat on top of a hill, so wind was a serious concern.

I’d spend a damn hour or better trying to find tools, sockets, nutdrivers, etc, etc outta rollaways, etc, etc, to try and accomplish a damn 15 min job. I learned my lesson yrs ago about not putting *s-wordt back where it belongs. And I’ve still got some clusterfuckk *s-wordt laying out, that needs to get back where it came from...

For sure. I guess one of my nephew's already piled his bike doing something stupid. My sister isn't too happy about having to foot the bill for it though.
Each homeowner is paying for the sidewalk across their front yard. There was a big uproar over it all, but the city said too bad, we are doing it even if nobody on the street wanted it.
