that's the hardest part i don't smoke and can never find one

I DO smoke, but I usually grab the propane torch when I want to light a fire. Its got the clicky thing on it, so it lights itself.
I gotta get the fire pit going if it ever cools off enough.

Clicky things are good...when they work. When they don't, then you gotta find a lighter to light your lighter. Thats just too much work.

We burn old wood, branches, cardboard etc in the backyard just so we can stand around and poke the fire with a stick.
Why waste time hauling that stuff off?

Pretty sure dad still burns the paper trash in a drum out back. We always did when I was growin up. Used to fight wif lil bro to see who got to light it.

At the farm we get a burn permit by calling in the location , your phone number is your burn permit number.

At home the fire dept. is right around the corner. They see smoke coming from our direction they know it's just the usual suspects settin fire to the backyard. No plastic, paint, rubber etc. is all they ask.
