Afternoon fellas. Checked out a couple old Cherokee's this morning. They’re in pretty good shape. Guess we’ll be dragging them home this coming week. Need another 4x4 for the kids so we’ll keep one and sell one once we get them sorted.

Afternoon diks. Just spent a couple hours in Marc’s plow truck taking care of his route. Not sure how things will go but I know Marc would want them done regardless if they ever get billed. I will take the time after winter is over to discuss things with his daughter. Thank you all for the support during this.

Mark I have the time due to the lord making plans for me that didn’t allow kids. My grandfather’s both served our country and never talked about their time in service. This didnt really make sense to me and never led me to want to serve. Marc was a very large part of me joining these entities to serve a different way. It’s been very odd for me to be able to enter our VFW during off hours or even just do things without Marc. They have seen me by Marc’s side for the last several years helping do all the events and trust me and respect me to continue what Marc always took care of. This Memorial Day will be very difficult for me as Marc and I were the guys who got everything set up and done for all the events. There are so many other events Marc headed up that will need to be taken over now. Thankfully our SAL and VFW auxiliary groups have the young members that will step up to help me not have to do it alone. Marc was one guy who never asked for help. He would not tell you what needed to be done. After a couple years I realized this and just started to make myself available and listened to him about what was coming up.

Yeah that’s priority #2. We gotta put a fuel pump in the nicer of the two and a head gasket in the other one. That one may just become parts but the body is pretty nice for the rust belt. It’ll be a fun project especially since the boys can do most of the work now.

The Mrs and I have been talking recently about giving up the new Grand Cherokee she’s got, and going back old school with a mid-90’s Cherokee. She had a few back in the day, they were always great rigs.

These are both 98 5 speeds with the 4.0. The one I have is automatic. If you can get past the electrical gremlins they are a great vehicle. My wife loved the ones she had as well.
