I refuse subtitles. I need English and the mouths to match the words.
I actually like watching the old Japanese monster movies, Godzilla and the like, when the original dialogue and dubbed English are sooooo far off from each other

The scientist speaks for 10 seconds and the English is dubbed in as "yes"

It is even better if it is on MST3000

Man, it has been a hot minute since I've watched MST3000. Used to catch it when I still had cable TV on occasion

They have a new version on NetFlix

It is just OK, hard to recreate that old chemistry
I will look it up and see for myself. I may have to troll my kids and see if I can get them to watch it with me.

My dad did that with me years ago; Making me watch Master of the Flying Guillotine with him.

I need subtitles 🤠
Well.....did you really think it would be that easy?

I refuse subtitles. I need English and the mouths to match the words.
Of course, you're Canadian.

They have them, in Portuguese. Lol. I tried
You are definitely the only one of the guys here,,, who tried seriously but still a hopeless attempt, to see the eminent film.

Got anything that is in English, heck, we barely speak that! Lol
I'll check with Dallas to see if it's possible for Thursday's film, but my prediction is negative if I know him correctly.

See if he will translate it and be the narrator 😂

Not sure about their legality status or not but we have a ton of Filipinos, Samoans, people from Balkan states, Koreans, Russians, Hispanic, etc and over the last few years the churches have brought in a lot of Africans from the various countries that seem to be constantly waging civil war/genocide

Language access was becoming a huge problem in the courts before I retired in 2016 and has gotten to be even worse
It always amazes me that people from really hot climates are relocated to the northern US. I have my theories, however…🙄

School buses up here all have those rotating retracting chain gizmos, which is fine until the front end starts sliding and you end up in the ditch

Ice will still shut down school up here

And while we are at it, how come school buses don't have seat belts

Some of the school busses here have them. Most of the fire trucks around here have them. Pretty neat gadget.

It amazes me as well

The Filipinos work in a lot of the seafood processing companies all around the state

The Koreans own restaurants and lots of other businesses, are almost always prosperous and law abiding, and tend to become citizens and then sponsor other Koreans to come here and repeat the cycle

Sadly, there are a lot the immigrant groups that, like everywhere else, bring their feuds, and their baggage with them and they develop a reputation for less than ideal behavior

I will leave it at that
