Read something recently that State Farm and several other Ins Cos tried to cancel CA homeowner's policies because of all the fires, flooding etc.. Something like 7 of the 12 largest insurers in LA were cancelling policies before this last round of fires, so many folks that are losing their *s-worde in the current fires may be SOL as far as having $ to rebuild.

Of course, this was on the interweb, so a grain of salt is required...

Read something recently that State Farm and several other Ins Cos tried to cancel CA homeowner's policies because of all the fires, flooding etc.. Something like 7 of the 12 largest insurers in LA were cancelling policies before this last round of fires, so many folks that are losing their *s-worde in the current fires may be SOL as far as having $ to rebuild.

Of course, this was on the interweb, so a grain of salt is required...

My fire of the 3 loads of brush I hauled today didn’t take off too well. Will try again tomorrow. The echo 490 and Stihl gta 26 got a workout, not to mention myself. The batteries on the 7.3 diesel were pretty low. Was gonna give up and charge them tomorrow until I decided to try starting the 95’ gmc which to me surprise started almost right up. Then jumped the Ferd with the OBS. Let both run a while. They both sat 2 weeks. OBS has 340k miles, Ferd has 266k miles.

No, not gonna dig the 380 bts outta winter storage and our 150bt and my Milwaukee cordless blower are both in my shed 2 hours away

Unless you are one of the few people without a mortgage you would have to have homeowners insurance, one way or the other, regardless of cost

A mortgage company wouldn't allow a financed house to be without insurance

Some of the optional supplemental stuff like flood and earthquake insurance is another matter
