A lot of people in the midwest die while shoveling snow from a heart attack. I’d imagine it’s catching a few by surprise down by you as well. Shoveling snow can be hard work. And obviously exposure to the cold if improperly dressed.

The cold air constricts blood vessels and those that already have a blockage get into trouble pretty quick.

Musk is sorely mistaken. He just wants H1b so he can get cheap, mediocre (80% with only a BA degree) labor that is groomed to never complain. Other than this issue I like what he talks about.

Musk is only interested in what he can profit from.
That he will change the American public system, no doubt at all, and some of the changes will be good. But he will never walk away from systems that he himself benefits from.

2 weeks of 40s predicted here. Pretty weird for January but has happened in the past. Lows only in the upper 20s. Not cold enough to freeze the ground and the bugs and varmints are gonna love it…sigh…

It's not installed I'm doing my roof first.
I'm well prepared for everything i can go several weeks without needing to buy anything
I'm not home much anyway I've been working 12 hour shifts with 2 hour commute to and from.
I don't think many people prepared for the weather this time because it's been so mild so far.
