Get you some window units or a portable ac until the main unit gets replaced. Look on Offerup and marketplace you'll find cheapies.

Damn.
I heared no water crafts were left in 2020 models in the DelVal area. Some guy went to Delaware to buy a 2019 leftover.
Wrenches, builders and all types of repair shops seem to be busy here.

We have three shakers but only running one. House is dry 75-78.
Letting some small broad leaf trees grow next to the house helped a lot with sun and wind. Going to start up a second shaker unit tomorrow. My central AC has been down for years. 1974 unit on it's second hard start kit
No point in using it with the crappy old flat evap. Took that out in 05. I have and an A evap and a 2014 high seer head 410 refrigerant, I think. One of these days... but we need updated ducts first and the crawl space needs un-insulated, insulate the first four courses of block and tape down a new moisturizer barrier after cleaning. Changing it over after a soda blasting to a controlled environment. The place is a nasty mess! Blasting, foam board and white plastic will fix that. These dinks used black four mill plastic and no tape with tiny end vents sized one block. I fixed what I could and sealed off the hot air heat vents, holes around pipes, floors and decking seams. The T&G plywood was laid wet so it shrunk. We pitched the carpets and put down floating floors and vinyl to get rid of that damn musty smell seeping up.

No AC here would suck. Modern houses don't breath for chit.
