If not after a power up how long will it hold voltage?

If you test it for continuity, should start as almost a short, then go up to a very high resistance in the hundreds of K ohms to megohms. Then reverse your leads and it should do similar. Fluke meters usually have a capacitor test mode which will show you the value as @timg mentioned. Also from either side to the shell, if metallic, should read open.

My sister's capacitor still worked but made a humming sound all the time.
So i replaced it
With a same rated capacitor but much smaller.

Made in america even.

I think the most common Flux capacitor requires 1.21 gigawatts.
Unless you've got in series with a turbo encabulator.

None swelled and no oil leaking. Has to be capacitors or magnetic starter. And there are 4 capacitors in the box
