We had a Wiseco crank fail in about 30 hours...

This one lasted long enough to wear out one ring. It only had a few hours on the new piston and ring when it locked up. I’ve read they can be rebuilt with ProX rod kit.
The new crank was a complete kit but I bought an oem pin bearing and Nachi main bearings. Guess we’ll see how well it holds up.

I heard Dallas had a West Virginia crank that failed so he had it removed.

How does one wreck a crank in a dirt bike? Over-rev?

Good morning men. Late start today, got some quality sleep in. Overcast and high of 60. Misha wanted me to look at a husky 359 he picked up. Piston is junk, probably an air leak from the plastic boot clamp. Are there any quality aftermarket jugs and pistons for these, or is OEM reasonable?

99% of the time I can save the cylinder. You are welcome to send it for me to try.
