Apparently there is real good money in running girls for strip clubs. This property is owned by the guy locally when it comes to hiring entertainment. He took the business over from his mom about 25 years ago.

A guy here was running a similar racket for about 25 years until he started importing eastern European girls on work visas and then keeping them in the country illegally for up to five years. He had six clubs in the Eugene/Springfield/Corvallis/Salem, Oregon area until DOJ went after him. They took all his property and a bunch of his money. I don't think he did any time in the clink but he sure didn't have much afterward.

This guy doesn't own any clubs. One of the weird things about our liquor laws here is that certain types of licenses require a certain amount of "live" entertainment. If you are a bar that wants to be open all day long you need to provide live entertainment, not many bands work lunch hour or afternoons...
