The inner fenders are plastic. The battery "box" is a steel support under the inner fender. It has two tabs that stick up thru the plastic that the battery hold downs tie into. They were gone. The bolts that hold the mess together just snapped off, and some of the support was rusted away. Typical stuff for a truck that is over 4 decades old.

What saw are you using? And how long does each pass take? My 2094 I give it a rest every third of a cut, letting it idle for a minute.

Morning / Evening All. Starting off at 4C/39F headed to 9C/48F, decent spring day to continue the spring melt, ditches are full and water is moving through the network in to the marsh.

Did my first post surgical morning walk today, wasn’t quick but I got my 2 miles in. Finished just in time for the earliest of predawn light
