Lots of glue and rust ? lolGood evening gents. Got quite a lot done on the Ferd today. Rebuilt the battery box in the inner fender. That was time consuming....
The inner fenders are plastic. The battery "box" is a steel support under the inner fender. It has two tabs that stick up thru the plastic that the battery hold downs tie into. They were gone. The bolts that hold the mess together just snapped off, and some of the support was rusted away. Typical stuff for a truck that is over 4 decades old.Lots of glue and rust ? lol
