You’re impressive my fellow Ford fan. 😂
lol there was a little i think mercury car that i think started with a s that was supposed to be the runner
little turbo car around the 90s or so
It doesn't bother me, I'm not a fan boy of anything in particular. Except maybe my Lund boat. I have Honda, VW and Ford here now. Small block chevys were mass produced and parts were cheap for almost anything you wanted for it. For a long time the square bodies were the trucks to have because parts were cheaper to buy than about any other brand. Now so many of them are gone that the prices are going up, for both the trucks and the old small blocks. Got a 305 chevy motor with about 6000 miles on it from a truck of mine that some drugged up idiot pulled out from a red light in front of me. I had just rebuilt the motor and transmission in that truck and was getting ready to start on the body. It sits in a crate, but I think it is time for it to find a new home.
i just like tormenting these guys
He’s a Chevy guy and can’t figure out how to make a Ford run. 😂😂😂
but i dont think he could do it the other way around with so many extra parts needed and wires needed lol

I was having brain farts from smelling cowshit all day. 460s with manual transmissions are pretty rare. The 390 flywheel works....or so I've been told, but the bell housing is different.
Some of the 78/79 ford 3/4 tons had a 400M and 351 m the hogshead/bellhousing should work (many were 4spds) the ones I am familiar with are 4x4 and they hook up to 429s and 460. I would check if the 351 M flywheel will be balanced to work on a 460.
Also watch that the valves and seats can handle this unleaded gas now days. 1975 will but 71s' won't just a detail to consider.
Your Windsor (if it is oem to the truck) will have a different gearing for the trans than a 300 six / 6.9 diesel or the 400/460 gas
different torque rpm band and shifting ratios. Most of the F250 3/4 ton Big block ran 3:73 to 1 and F350s 4:11 The F250 3/4 towing package went with 4:11s. Your small block winds up higher so gear ratio could be something that could Bite You in the Arse.
You need to verify what I am saying for your own peace of mind.

some pinto was 2.3 the turbo coupe and mustang was a 2.3 turbo and would run better than the v8
some of the 2.3 ranger motors had 8 spark plugs
The 2.3 turbo and 2.3 ranger non turbo were the same Head. tough little engines. Your 8 valve is for a lot newer than mid 80s engines I am not familiar with them. I had a Stealth with V-6 dual over head 3.3 (think) cam with turbo couldn't afford the Super Coupe T-Bird.

No, I was being sarcastic.

I have no use for a wanna be side by side.
That's what I'm gonna buy. Too many Americans are obsessed with giant unnecessary ugly cars like this: 2024-Cadillac-Escalade-V-white-full_color-driver_side_front_quarter.png
And, waaay too many guys drive trucks to do nothing but cart the kids around and pick up groceries. Kind of like mall crawlers.
