probably also need something special as ford thought they needed to change *s-word every 6 months

while chevy any engine and transmission worked together
I'll try to find some random BOP stuff to send your way. It's all just GM.

because ford couldnt make up their *f-wording mind lol
Actually it's because they have one and move forward with new ideas. The FE had been around since the late 1950's.
At least Ford, Lincoln and Mercury used the same patterns, unlike Chebby and other GM bellhousings like Pontiac, Olds and Buick.

FE bell housing and flywheel works.
FE is 428/410/390/360/352/332
351M/400M/429/460 are the big block very few of the older 429/460 had manual but the 3/4 ton in ?80 started in with 4 spd trannys (Similar geared tran as the 240/300 six I looked for them 'cus 3rd gear wasn't worn out)
240/300/after '64 289/302/351W were the small block
272/292/312 are Y block Ford is balanced external so don't use a 6 cyl Flywheel on a V-8. (You'll figure out How I know).
Fe had truck sizes as well 272/292/332/361/391 ETC.
Save you some grief and verify before You spend time and money.

This is what you get for trusting the crackerjack lube techs at the Toyota Fast Lane oil change service

They change the oil (hopefully) top off the washer fluid and do a comprehensive 39 point check or some such nonsense

You get a nice shiny invoice with all these green boxes ticked off showing how diligently they did their work

I took it to a local oil change place yesterday for the second time and they obviously didn’t check it last time either

When they walked out with it this time I about choked

the side brands of chevy was not chevy

they was sister companies not rebranded like ford did because a sticker or badge changed the whole brand so extra money for a lincoln but still had a *s-wordty blue oval
same thing with mercury marauder/// crown vic /// and grand marquis

but same thing as how husky numbered their saws then 4 numbers same saw

Lmao….fortunately I’m a couple states away from the Grafton Gazer.
just one *b-word

Pretty sure if the ol' memory serves correctly, Larry is right on that one. 400M, 429 and 460 are your huckleberry's of choice.
The 460 Ford 1980 Pickup and up housing were Aluminum and I THINK the 6.9 L diesel will work on a 460 but not 460 on a diesel cuz of flywheel clearance they have a Master and slave Hyd clutch. The older manual 429 will be scarce as in 429 Torino GT and Mustangs and other big block Ford muscle car stuff.

Wait, you have gag reflexes?

I thought I read in the fine print, it was a prerequisite ya could've have any gag reflex, when buying into the DallCo franchise.

Buy a bellhousing & swap motor mounts & stick a 390 in that BISH! Lol

My buddy had one all hopped up in a Fairlane.
OMG!
It would peel your lips behind your ears!
He never got beat as far as I know.
Builders used to come from all over to race him.
