awwww damn i must have struck the whole nerve cell

slacked in my life huh ?
you dont know what my job entails or the stuff ive had to do on the job

sorry im not a factory zombie
i tried that in the 90s and wasnt for me

now you want to bring up the because i dont punch a everyday when power plants dont work on the units when they are making the most money in winter and summer
or you upset that i didnt do anything on the side when im off
well i use to before i got sick in 2016 but just so i could stay busy
now with my health issues and not healing right and busting my *f-wording back all my life you want to go after how i chose to live my life
i decided not to live beyond my means
ive been on a few jobs and have known guys that have died on the job because of falling or getting up ir died on the way to or from work
the thing is i dont *f-word you or anyone in your family so how i chose to live my life is my decision
and when its my turn to die i wont leave anyone burdened
ive completed everything i needed to do in my life when i helped take care of my mom until she died
i dont care what you think of me and never have
So I need the butthurt cream bro?
Step back and take a minute.

I'm going with the Dana 60.....
Why the fuch would you want A "better" axle than a 9" Ferd?😆
They are one of the best in the industry.
Ford was dumb for going to the 8.8" IMO.
Those are under a ton of hotrods of all makes, as well as almost all 1/2 ton trucks until the mid 80s.
Having said that, a Dana 60 or 70 semi/full floater is a different and higher class of axle.
Id still put a Ford 9" above a GM 10 bolt/chrysler 8 1/4" ANY day...

I thought you were a Jeep guy? Those low pinion 9s are tough on driveshafts in the short wheelbase 5s and 7s.:wave1:

I prefer the Dana 44 Twin Traction Beam.

I honestly liked these also. The problems most people complained about were directly related to lack of maintenance. These were a very well though out front axle, and designed after the off road truck racing of the era.

I had one and I've worked on lots of them. They were kinda cool. It was a very forward-thinking design. For as many moving parts as they have, they are relatively easy to work on. The downside is that they didn't really ride any better than a coil sprung solid axle. I still the special camber bushing puller for them.

They could handle a lot of abuse in factory form as well. There’s a local off road shop that used to sponsor some Tuff Truck racers around here, and they were all running Rancho lifts with stock TTB front ends in those F-150’s and taking all the abuse.
