I will have been retired for 8 years come the first of January

Other than more morning coffee time I’m still not used to it

I didn’t do anything today other than make breakfast and after 8 years it still feels weird

I'm not retired.
I will NEVER get to retire.
Just a simple fact based upon the state we are currently in.
I do what I need to do when I need to do it, then I get to come home and "catch up".
Got a list a mile long of "want tos".
Almost the same length of "have tos".

Right now, I'm looking forward to making a pot of coffee on the camp stove, then some breakfast.
After that, I'll see if I feel good enough to work on anything from those lists.

Yeah, ive slowed down a bit from what I used to do.

My original plan was work until I was 67 but she retired at 56 and 4 years of me being here and her being in Hawaii half the year was not working out for her so she said screw the difference in pensions and stuff and retire

I’m not saying it wasn’t appealing, it’s just way different

I have a history with Lowe's so I hate anything that is Lowe's exclusive but I also think it is dumb that Flex tools are black and gray- Makes them harder to see in the driveway and easier to get run over. Plus... why would you buy anything other than Milwaukee?
