Used to listen to a lot of CCR when I was a newly wed, that and she always liked playing the black crows.

One of the two was always in the CD changer at all times.

I've got (well, it's technically my Dads) a ton of CCR, Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Beatles, all that stuff on vinyl.

I don't know if I've ever heard a Pantera song.

It's probably a bit too metal/harsh for your taste based off what you've mentioned.
You definitely wouldn't like their Far beyond driven album..
Maybe Cemetary gates..or hollow are a couple more mellow songs

Maybe I should try that. I have a cracked one that I have to get fixed next week.
Come on over to Dirt Auto Body and Dental.
It lasted about a week before there was some type of chemical reaction that turned it orange.
There is a chance of that... that's what the waiver is for...

Vulgar display of power is one of the best albums ever.
I think I still know most of the lyrics to most of Pantera's songs.

Six of us were on the way back from da UP, Saturday night 11 pm or so, we were all 3 sheets to the wind, in blinding snow storm, we got a bit turned around, trail map was not making any sense.

Stumbled on a bar / strip club, we had never been to yet, bonus points when we walked in there was biker chick on stage stripping to, I'm Broken.

Turns out we were near Eagle River, place we found was Carrie Wild's Frontier Tavern. Not sure if it's still open, but it was a hell of a place we visited often, after the first time.

Pantera’s Cowboys From Hell will always be my favorite tune of theirs…

Speaking of Metallica though, I used to listen to them a lot as a teenager. My favorite albums of theirs are Load and ReLoad. It’s probably because that’s what was out of theirs when I “discovered” them. I like the Black album too. But I don’t care for their speed metal albums in the beginning.

Ride the lighting, kill em all, and master of puppets, is what made them who they are, took them from a garage band to the mainstream. I can't stand any of their albums after the black album. I bought load, listen to it a few times then tossed it in the trash. I stopped paying attention to them after the load album.

I've always liked how that song starts out mellow, then it comes alive around 3 minutes in.

You listen to any Lamb of God?
Some hardcores got all butthurt, but the range Randy Blythe showed in "Overlord" by starting mellow and letting loose at the end was quite impressive.
Their song "Redneck" makes my all time list too.

Side note on the cracked tooth story

I went to my dentist for one of my 6 month cleanings a couple of years ago and told her I was having a sensitivity issue with a certain molar so she looked at the X-rays and discovered I had THREE cracked molars

I am like what the actual fukk, how to you crack three molars without doing something stupid like opening beer bottles or cracking nuts or something

This was 2020 or 2021 and the dentist told me there was a nationwide epidemic of cracked teeth that was a direct result of the stress of living under all the Covid *B-S....

I *s-wordt you not
I'm still stressed from COVID
That isn't snow on the road... its salt. We get a 5 minute squall and the county decides to turn Route 19 into the Bonneville salt flats. Asshats.

I do root canals, $200 out the door, no insurance. Joe Dirt Auto Body and Dental.

You do have to sign a waiver first for dental work though.
I won't ask about the work you do without a waiver. Be careful, it will cause you to have neck surgery
Sorry boys, but Metallica’s cover of Turn The Page is better IMO.
This is wrong. However, Smith and Meyers' version of Nothing Else Matters is superior.

You should listen to some Deftones
