Spooked the guy with me today coming back in. He had never ran through one and two foot rollers before. Pictures don't do it justice. Little insanity before returning to work tomorrow. Deep V's are the way to run.

Got in a storm several years ago with Bosslady. Caught us off guard. Turned out from a railroad trestle and bam, 2' whitecaps and a howling wind straight on.

Knew better than to turn the stern toward that.

Had the old Sunbird 17' bay boat. Just put it a bit below half throttle and trimmed up enough that it wouldnt try to go on plane. Stayed dead into the breakers.
Sounded like the hull was about to break every hit, but she made it through just fine.
Was never so greatful to find some slack water right off the point that all of that weather was coming around.

It was around 40°F here today. Windy and sprinkling rain.
