Well, my morning started at 5am. 3 cups of coffee and then a good chit. I then took my 34 year old live at home stepson to work. Stopped by on the way home to fuel the truck. 75 bucks(FJB). Now I am back to tearing down my mil's old house. How about you? Feeling better?

Went out to the mailbox and watched my buddy the black racer slither across the front lawn to the bush that surrounds the mailbox.
This snake has been doing this all year. My neighbor sees him about twice a week when walking his dogs.
Hope he doesn't scare the mail lady.

Indeed. I had to abandon my small square bale hay operation because of them. Much happier raising hay for the cattle now.

My granddaughters in Homer and their mom are all musicians and head your way every year for a month to be part of blue grass festivals throughout Tennessee, Kentucky, etc

Donna gave Isla, the middle granddaughter, an antique mandolin that I had given Donna years ago and she never followed through on lessons and stuff

Isla is amazing for an 11 year old

I love bluegrass

I like the newer bluegrass as well, I guess Nickel Creek is what got me back into bluegrass years ago and I still love their music
