Howdy Folks! Work day today....pruned a few big pines that had heavy limbs over the road. Holiday here so I fought with traffic quite a bit.

Dinner with our friends that have the wedding reception place. They treated us to dinner because we helped them this summer.

Helping my brother in law and sister in law move today. Total fustercluck. I need a drink.
New people next door are moving in to my grandparents house today. I'm really enjoying watching and not helping.

That said, I'd rather help them move than go to this stupid wedding this evening. Just to paint a picture in your mind, imagine what it would be like if two 13 year olds that nobody even likes got married and had a wedding... that's pretty much the vibe of this whole thing.

Oh, and there is no open bar because they are cheap fųckers.

I have a hard time wrapping my head around two 13 year olds getting married. Anyone have experience watching that happen, that can explain it to the rest of us?

Anyone?

If dat ain’t the first signs of ‘I’d move’ I don’t recolize what would be…
Having real winter keeps you from showing up and wanting dinner

If you wouldn’t have gotten your cousin pregnant you wouldn’t have to get married lol
Just to add, the 757 got the nod on the pine tree, it was only a 12" pine at 1' above ground. Might be my new favorite saw...
Lol you didn’t like the idea of pulling it 100 times?

Actually, the Alaskan mill is on the one that is ready to use. It starts pretty easily, usually two pulls with choke, then fires on the third without choke. I now remember to always use the decomp after it ripped the pull out of my hand the first time I forgot. Won't forget again!

That 757 is a badass saw. Had a demo unit I ran some when I used to sell those.

I mean, the 488 would have handled that just fine, but I get where youre coming from...😁

Gotta get this 695 out of the rafters one day and see if the cylinder cleans up. Then I just gotta find a piston...

LRB is the only one I could find, unless you can talk Paul @Gullet out of one he is hoarding. I had to thin 039 rings down as they were proud of the piston when installed. It too, runs great. Has a velocity stack k&n style filter on it.

I used to think decomps were for sissies and newbies…

This is the time of year where I get rid of trees that have sprung up in places I don't want them. An 8" Bradford pear has finally gotten in the way of a path my wife uses. 757 to the rescue, it, and some 3" suckers are now being consumed by the goats. Gives them some extra green leaves, and prevents hay feeding. Took all the traction my Ferguson had to drag that 12" pine out of the woods, downhill into the goat pasture was nothing. Uphill out of the front woods was tough. Thank God it was dry out. Once they have consumed the leave, needles and bark, I will cut up the thick ends for burning.

Took apart the stove pipes to the chimney to clean the chimney, but it is clean, so just emptied the little accumulation in the elbow. Pipe comes horizontal out of the stove, 90 degrees strait into the 8" to 6" chimney adapter. I expected a bunch of creosote, as I burned some less than dry wood last year. Nope. Nice and clean.

Daughter came for a visit with the dogs. Now mine are tired. Still too warm to hunt. Turned on the air conditioning today. WTH!
