My grandpa was a farmer all his life and a dairy farmer for probably 60 of em. He would have told ya to not let the hay touch the ground... like Randy said it gets moldy and they know better than to eat it. Well every cow but holsteins anyway.View attachment 261775

Just something from the web for illustration. From what I can remember of my grandpa's, it was mostly made out of cattle panels and tubular fence gates. If I know him there was a fair amount of baling wire, and probably a little duct tape somewhere in the mix as well. Frugal didn't begin to describe it. He'd use something up and then use the pieces for something else.

I'm off Sunday and Wednesday and it'll be a *s-word storm at work tommorow.
I talked to a friend he's been mad at his sister for a year.
He accused her of stealing a xd 10mm hunter pistol
And another pistol.
The last place he'd seen them were at her house before he'd moved his guns out.
Low and behold he found them where he forgot he put them.
In a pillowcase in the attic of the house he bought last year.
How you'd lose track of guns I'll never know.
But he's been apologizing to her and family all day.
He better buy her something for the aggravation he caused.
It wasn't pleasant lol

My buddys wife wanted to buy my tahoe so standing in my garage we r having a beer and selling me station wagon. Now outside my garage is a retaianment wall an his daughter saw a toad setting on the wall an picked it up an set it back down. There is a big saw blade againts the wall an low an behold 2 mice came flying out so like any redneck I pulled me sig 365 an sent one down range and low an behold hit mr mouse, upon farther investigation there is more carnage. Low an behold poor mister toad happened to be in direct line of fire, need I say more......
