These areas of my property were clear-cut in 2012. I think?
Anyway, I went through it with a brush cutter and took out pretty much every pine when knee high.
Most of it I'm still thinning. It's predominantly oak species, most are 10-12' tall now.

It sucks now but your trees will come back.

Being as proactive as I can, about 5 acres clearing for white pine seedling, and I got other small clear cuts I had planted a couple years ago but burned, basically all ready to replant so that makes room for my 10,000. Other areas I’m gonna let regen and I’ll come in and release desired trees. Red oak I 100% of time release and favour, deer are hard on them.

Neighbor had his friend do stumps real reasonable.
I should price that. I only have about 20, for now.
Hey Butler guy, I just had 4 done with a smaller tracked grinder $200. Best of all no clean up and soil is loomy for a replant.
