When its 90° and we don't have AC, the wife makes beans and cornbread. I'm eating my beans and saying thank you ma'am.

In New Orleans there was an old restaurant, they only served red beans and rice.
Everyone sat at long tables, rich and poor together.
Simple food but good for the body and soul.

Evening girls. Had our driveway sealcoated today. It was way overdue to be done.

I seem to have contracted some poison ivy at work so that sucks. As much landscaping as I do as work I'm surprised I didn't get it sooner. I've got it on my arm, neck, waist, ankles, and back of my legs. I wear long pants, long socks and boots every day but I still got it. Anyways throwing some steaks on the grill for dinner then gonna pass out on the couch.
