I don't know how many wrecks there have been in the short half mile stretch of highway by my place. Looks like they are getting it cleaned up and the road back open before too long. Been going on for almost 2 hours. Sport utility side swiped a truck and pushed them about halfway head on into a vehicle of teens. I was in the yard when it happened and had the car that caused it drive by in front of the place with drivers side damage, flat rear tire and dragging the rear bumper cover. Teens look to be bit shaken up with no major problems but the lady in the truck was taken in an ambulance, at least broken arm. Less than a quarter mile from the house and I happened to be in the front yard and knew what was going on when I heard the hit. Grabbed keys and jumped into the truck to head toward accident, noticed cars stopping so I turned around and went after the other vehicle. Found them a mile from the accident getting ready to change their tire and probably take off. Got a plate number and went back to wait for the police to show up. Think I'll try to get some sleep now, maybe.
