This is link to local sale barn, but I always take it with a grain of salt. Don't think we hit close to market prices, but scuttlebutt has some shady dealings behind the scenes at times.

Last time I went to the stock barn, was around 130/cwt. Looks like things have improved. Damn pinhookers drive the prices down.

Last time I went to the stock barn, was around 130/cwt. Looks like things have improved. Damn pinhookers drive the prices down.

Several years back we caught one and sent it to the sale at a little over 200lbs. It was during that time when prices were nuts for a couple of months and it went through at $4 lb. I'll have to try to find the receipts and figure out how long ago that was.
