I pay attention to what affects my daily life.

Whether that makes me a good or a bad person (or part of the problem) does not matter to me. I don't wake up each day worrying about world problems. Things I can't change, does me no good to concern myself with them.

There's always been issues with things, and there always will be.

I'm just wanna enjoy the last 20 or so years of my life. Then take the dirt nap.

There's enough people with PILES more money than me, with enough money you can buy almost anything you want. No matter how much money the elite have, they always want a little more. I don't give a chit.

The Colorado river is the main water source for the southwest, it's been drying up / running low for 20 plus years.

Lake Powell is at record lows, it's 179 feet below the full mark. Even with the good snow pack we had this year, it's not going to make a big enough dent. I would not want to live west of the divide anymore, there almost no water over there.

If there's no water to extract from the river, does it matter how many water rights you own?

It’s back! About 6-8” has fallen so far, but you wouldn’t tell from the patio table - 30-40mph winds have kept it interesting around here.. Down in the valley at my in-laws this afternoon it was just a heavy breeze and accumulated nicely. Not up here on the ridge though!
