Have a hen that’s all the sudden obsessed with trying to fly up on anything over 4-6 ft. Came out and it was walking over the hood of my truck yesterday, flew into the reflection of the porch window as well, now it’s eyeing up my tractor probably thinking that the top of the cab is a good looking spot. Good thing it didn’t start doing this with my camaro parked outside.

Sounds like a meal to me

Yes those extended flight feathers, I’ve already been watching a couple YouTube videos on that, seems pretty simple might do that

Good afternoon men. Working all weekend, waiting for the May cabin season. I've heard morels are being found, but I haven't seen one. It got warm enough, but by the time the ground caught up it was pretty crunchy. Made some burgers on the gasser last night, 50/50 ground beef chuck and venison. Pretty damned tasty.

The Boy has been selected for a couple of soccer matches today, one on one of our nations largest stadiums, Eden Park. Little shīt is 11 and he's getting opportunities like this...
So it's a 5 hr return trip in a ute for me today.
Speedy Gonzales is already down there with the kids.

I've torn down an ever loving *s-word_load of engines in my life.....but I've never seen anything like this before.

Standard dished piston. Nothing special except for the remarkable condition.

There are 7 like the one above, and one like this.

Seems someone allowed this one to bypass a machining process....

The weight is gonna be quite a lot different on this piston than the other 7.

Whoops! I wonder how much more vibration that caused… Maybe have the crank magnafluxed for cracks before continuing the build.

Did you weigh the piston assemblies? Are they in the expected range? Is it possible that they are weight balanced by grinding on that flange in the casting????

Nah, I just bolted those braces on to keep the top from vibrating as bad.
Some kids had it before we got it.
Its been on its side quite a bit.

Bosslady wanted the bed lower, so she wouldnt have to lift things as high.
I built that out of an old lawn tractor trailer.
I like the fact that it still has the upper platform and the bed. Really handy about keeping tools and stuff easy to reach.

That is how they are balanced. I'll be correcting this one.
