Our Toyota hvacs don't go straight to TMMK anymore. They go to another supplier plant next door in Georgetown, where the entire dash assembly is put together. Then the whole thing is put into the car at the big plant. I think that's the way all of the manufacturers are doing it now. All in the name of cost savings...

Ed, I had a issue with my '04 GTO HVAC diverter doors that reminded me of your images, had a sneaky suspicion where you going.

Out of all this bs it's this one bolt that really says wtf.
The nut is welded facing the rear of the car. Easy access.
The bolt comes in from the firewall side..not easy access..
Why couldn't they have welded the nut to the firewall side?

The engine bay in my truck is just a mass of wires everywhere. Old truck had a cover to hide it all but this new one it’s all in the open. 12 injectors on it to for a v-6. Direct and port injection to keep the valves clean.

I'd have cut the catalytic converter off since you already had the radiator out
