Trannyparts.com ? Had some interesting firewall replies....

This is the Autolign car suspension rep in my area. Using sex to sell is......brilliant.

The F-150 Lariat went up $7580 from the '22 model to the '23 model. How is that possible? How are are people paying it?

You'd have a hard time finding a good muscle car for that price now. 25 years ago that was the price for a show winner. Now you might get a half decent runner for that. I'm done with cars. Too expensive. I'm just not gonna leave the house.

Edit: it can't go on forever, this pricing insanity will come to an end one way or another. And it'll probably be really ugly. https://www.autoblog.com/2023/03/05...ns-owe-thousands-more-than-vehicles-are-worth

And the moral of the story is... don't agree to buy *s-word you can't afford. That article describes a situation eerily similar to the 2008 market crash. Subprime borrowers being issued loans they can't repay and compounding their debt.

I partially blame the banks for issuing the loans, but you've got to blame the borrowers too. When you make $15k a year at your part time job at Arby's, you should know that you don't get to drive a brand new $35k car. But they all want to finance it at 12% APR with a $1200 a month car payment for 84 months. Then trade it in after two years or better yet default on the payments.
