I think it's more a sign of foolishness...if you have to purchase chicken feed, it ends up being about the same as going to the store to buy eggs. They are handy to have around in the spring/summer/fall...not so much in the winter.

We took ours to the sale barn back in November.
We're gonna hatch out a new batch for my son's Ag project. Haven't done that in about ten years.
We only keep a half dozen hens usually. Any surplus eggs make great hog feed.

Like China priced? Probably not. But @PA Dan and @Glock37 have a dealer that seems to be able to get a lot of stuff.

ive even messaged him for screws and such and he would sell that by the pound
use to he did pretty much just used parts and now he is getting into the new parts
must have bought out a dealer or something
