Yep just moved about a half hour from my old place. The deflectors are time consuming which is something I haven't had a lot of lately. That and I need to get my new shop set up a little better and I have to add some equipment....still much work to do!!You should sell those they are the best I've usedView attachment 364095
Are you still in pa?
Just find a near enough 6 point and hammer it on?Once upon a time these were the same size.

How do they denote sizing on lefthand tapered swirl drive tube 'sockets'?Not cheap sets but they have paid for themselves in time saved over the years.

The smaller 1/4" drive sizes are just numbered.
Just use whatever fits.
The larger ones are standard and metric sized.

Tool junkie here. What are those called?
i have a set of 6 of those type from irwin. ive been pretty happy with em. there have definitey been times i pounded them on to a stipped cap screw mercilessly in order to get a good grip. The big set is Blue Point.
The small size set says "turbo socket".
I got them off the tool truck.
I think Irwin makes them too but their sizes are further apart if that makes sense.
I've seen them in the tool flyers called a twist socket too.

Sorry for the loss.Just got the message that my wife's cousin passed away this morning. 54 years old. Wife is really close with him and his wife and kids. He had a Harley and used to raise hell with a big group of friends that we went to school with. RIP Timmy
